Credentials
The Florida Certification Board administers over 30 credentials for professionals working in Child Welfare, Addiction, Mental Health, Peer and Recovery Support, and related health and human service fields.
FCB credentials are a designation of competency. An FCB credential does not allow for independent practice. All credentialed professionals must work for a licensed treatment agency, community mental health center, or other approved employer.

Exams
All Florida Certification Board exams are offered at proctored, computer-based test sites across the state. Certification candidates must have an approved application for certification before registering to take the exam.
Maintenance & Renewal
Maintain your credential in good standing by completing annual continuing education credits, paying renewal fees prior to expiration, and adhering to the Florida Certification Board’s Code of Ethical and Professional Conduct.
